The resort is easy to reach, only a 30 minute drive from either Alicante or Murcia airports. 15 minutes away are the excellent Blue Flag beach at Guadamar, and the lively town of Torrevieja, with its water park, waterfront cafes, market and marina, for shopping, restaurants and nightlife.

There’s a wide choice of Spanish and international cuisine for instance in 10 minutes you can drive to the Taj Mahal at Rojales for an Indian meal to rival any that we’ve eaten in England. There are local restaurants in adjacent San Miguel, and major supermarkets like Carrefour, Mercadona and Intermarche are within 10 minutes drive on the outskirts of Rojales or Torrevieja. As you’ve gathered, a car is essential, because the resort commercial area will not be ready until 2006.
